BridleWood Desert Rose

1999 Sec. B Welsh Mare
Sold to Nikki Braxmeier and Family
Rose is one of those ponies you cant help but fall in love with. She is nothing but sweet and endearing. Rose was the first foal BridleWood Welsh produced and we are very excited to see her now doing so well in the performance ring as a mature pony. Rose has earned multiple championships in English Pleasure, Western Pleasure, Hunters, Driving, Halter, and many blues in Trail. She is the definition of the versatile Welsh. Rose has also served as a very trusted Lead-Line and Walk-Jog pony for a few kids over the last two years.
Rose was extremely easy to start under-saddle and has continued to be very willing to try anything. She is the pony that will take care of any rider regardless of how inexperienced the rider is. We expect her foals to be just as simple and willing.
Rose has already earned over 1,000 WPCSA points during her short show career. We are very proud of how well Rose has done in the Welsh ring and at the open shows over the last few years.
We are also very excited about the next step in Rose's life as a broodmare. Rose is a wonderful mother and provided us with a gorgeous colt in 2006 by Goldhills Most Wanted. She did it again in 2007 providing us with another exceptional Dun colt.
Rose was left open for 2008 so she could rejoin the show team.
During the 2005 season Rose was named:

Rose is pictured to the left and below right as a 5 year old at the Pacific Coast Classic and WPCSA American Nationals. (She is pictured below left at the 2005 WPCSA American Nationals in Ohio). She had a wonderful 5 year old year with countless championships in Halter, English, Western, and Hunters. Rose was also very successful in trail with multiple blues. 2004 was her first year to be shown in the Welsh world and first year to ever be shown and ridden in Western.
